Job Description

  • Identify opportunities for reducing or preventing waste and improving productivity while coordinating the implementation of these improvements
  • Plan & implement the workplace flow & layout, equipment installations, modifications, and moves according to Lean concepts.
  • Analyze production capacity by area and stabilize the production process.
  • Organize and measure the progress of improvement initiatives and ensure factory wide consistency, while adhering to company policies and safety standards
  • Implement World Class Manufacturing business systems, utilizing the MAFACT concept.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions to optimize production throughput
  • Develop, implement, and manage Lean initiatives (including 5S), Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, and Kaizen events.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation and lean manufacturing
  • Monitors and communicates labor, delivery and lead-time performance metrics for the operations team and management.
  • Identify solutions for the improvement of the existing manufacturing processes.
  • Manage implementation of engineering changes on the production line to ensure positive impact on production.
  • Lead production line pilots, ramp-up support, productivity and efficiency improvements.
  • Create and maintain production master data including routing & production models.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing SOPs and visual aids.
  • Develop all needed reports to be submitted to the direct manager.
  • Perform any other assigned tasks as required by the direct manager within the same level of responsibility.
  • Follow the instructions, requirements of the quality, safety and occupational health.

Job Requirements

  • An Industrial, Mechatronics, or Electrical engineer.
  • You have 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
  • Experienced in using CAD, data analysis & visualization software.
  • Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and layouts.
  • Experienced in evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
  • You possess applied knowledge of PFMEA, OEE, Kaizen, Lean, 5S.
  • Strong communication skills, agility, easily adaptable in a new working environment.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Strong organization and management skills.
  • Good command of English Language
  • Excellent command with desktop tools (Outlook, Excel, Power point, Atlas, etc.)
  • Experience with any ERP is a plus.
  • A leader. You have a vision and a purpose, and you can inspire and influence others to not only share it but apply their abilities to achieving it.
  • Problem-solver & resilient. You see challenges as opportunities and chances to make things even better than before. Strong knowledge of Lean Tools / Six Sigma is preferred
