Job Description
- Provide software related custom integration and implementation support at customer sites, this may include pre-site inspection, initial installation, troubleshooting, implementation, customization, integration, and product orientation for the customer.
- Install products Mainframe and/or Open Systems hardware environment.
- Perform moderately complex and/or extended-stay software implementations. Demonstrate system capabilities, review software operation and management tools, and provide information to customer concerning.
- Provide proactive recommendations to the customer for improving their use of system storage solutions.
- Participate in the design and operational execution of the customer's disaster recovery process as required.
- Perform necessary storage infrastructure maintenance and necessary data migration, as required.
- Provide assistance to technical teams in the development of custom solutions and implementation preparation.
- Adhere to proper escalation and change control procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Information Technology, Computer Science or any equivalent.
- Proficiency in hardware, software and/or operating systems environments.
- Demonstrated Knowledge in Host-based Migrations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies including SNMP, IP.
- Fiber Channel SAN Experience (using Cisco/Brocade solutions)
- Experience working autonomously and prioritizing multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to build key relationships with stakeholders, up to and including Manager and Director Levels.
- Has an experience to engage in discussions about technical subjects and confidently deliver
