Job Description
- Manage and maintain all IT-related hardware and software, including servers, workstations, networking equipment, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications.
- Monitor system performance and security, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
- Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring appropriate access levels and security protocols are in place.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard company data.
- Provide technical support to end-users, responding to and resolving IT-related issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and document IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to identify and implement technology solutions that support business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Assist in IT procurement activities, including researching vendors, obtaining quotes, and purchasing equipment and software.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in related field.
- Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux-based environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
