Job Description

  • Manage all warehouse’s inbound and outbound operations to control inventory and logistics.
  • Monitor, review & ensure all daily warehouses transactions are done through the ERP system.
  • Set up all the warehouse layout and ensure efficient space utilization, and work to accommodate all the received shipments minimizing/eliminating extra storage cost.
  • Conduct and follow up stock take process to ensure system balance is equal to the physical one.
  • Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.
  • Plan inventory levels and locations and execute all forecasting and planning programs.
  • Establishing system of coding of material for various departments as Civil, Mechanical, electrical, Instrument & Spares
  • Communicate with different stakeholders to ensure warehouse items are properly saved & moved.
  • Manage & monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods to ensure business continuity.
  • Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met
  • Oversee the planned maintenance of warehouse tools, vehicles, machinery and equipment
  • Plan future capacity requirements to ensure the availability of the required spaces.
  • Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality, and customer service standards are met.
  • Develop all needed reports to be submitted to the direct manager.
  • Perform any other assigned tasks as required by the direct manager within the same level of responsibility.
  • Follow the instructions, requirements of the quality, safety and occupational health, the environment and road safety management system

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in any discipline.
  • Master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management is a plus.
  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager for 7 to 10 years.
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
  • Leadership skills and ability manage staff.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
