Job Description
- Conducts electrical maintenance activities on all plant equipment, contributing to the attainment of monthly and annual production targets and assisting in trouble shooting and improvement of plant reliability
- Performs all preventive electrical maintenance activities, including major shut-downs, so that established standards of quality production and reliability are met, within agreed cost parameters
- Provides electrical engineering assistance to plant personnel across manufacturing process, in order to diffuse technical knowledge and expertise for running the machinery more optimally, minimising technical troubles and improving the plant performance towards world class levels
- Monitors and evaluates the efficiency of the maintenance activities providing analytical reporting of results, including services from external suppliers, focusing on identifying areas for improvement, as well as identifying the most suitable suppliers of spare parts and services that meet company standards
- Cooperates with technical and other internal departments, for information exchange aiming to develop effective work relationships and increase of maintenance effectiveness
- Contributes to the definition of spare parts list and determination of spare parts ordering and stock levels, to ensure maintenance of plant operational efficiency, reviewing such levels periodically
- Reviews the spare parts received from suppliers, securing that meet company standards and operational needs
- Reviews and evaluates, in cooperation with the production management, the operating conditions of the plant, identifying and preventing malfunctions, as well as providing solutions for improvement
- Follows the appropriate health, safety and environmental practices in area of responsibility, identifying and reporting issues of consideration in order to meet company, corporate and governmental standards
- Participates or leads ad-hoc projects that may go beyond his/hers formal accountabilities, so as to satisfy and respond accordingly to business needs
Job Requirements
- University degree in electrical engineering
- 3 to 7 Years of experience in Cement industry.
- Very good knowledge of cement products and cement production processes
- Very good knowledge of electrical engineering and industrial automation principles
- Experience in maintenance activities within large industrial organisations
- Analytical and conceptual thinking
- Flexible and innovative personality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Team spirit
- Very good knowledge of English
- Organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
- PC literacy
- PLC 7 knowledge is a must.
