We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our clients team. You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components for a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with expertise in power systems, electronics, and control systems.Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of electrical systems and components for a range of projects, including power generation, distribution, and control systems.Conduct feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and risk assessments to support project planning and decision-making.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to ensure integrated design and implementation of electrical systems.Perform detailed engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize the performance and efficiency of electrical systems.Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for electrical components and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in electrical engineering, and apply them to project design and development.Participate in field inspections, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure the successful implementation of electrical systems.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Proven experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems, electronics, or control systems.Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and standards.Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software for schematic design and layout.Proficiency in engineering analysis tools and software for simulation and optimization.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.Professional engineering (PE) license is a plus.Note: This is for one of our clients, not avua directly
